Vox Æterna is committed to developing and maintaining an extensive educational component to complement and improve the artistic profile of the ensemble. The education initiative is divided into two categories: private instruction and vocal-choral workshops.
Members of the ensemble give private lessons in their various countries of residence and regularly arrange lessons with interested students abroad in conjunction with their international performing schedules. Touring programmes can also be complemented by ensemble Master classes focusing on the specific demands of early, contemporary, and vocal chamber music.
The workshop component involves developing and giving courses nationally and internationally on matters connected to the performance and instruction of vocal and choral music. Workshops have been presented in Los Angeles for the American Choral Directors’ Association, St. Lô (France) at the Polyfollia Festival, and Newfoundland (Canada) at Festival 500.
